I was recommended to Book Driving lessons. They show you exactly who’s available in your area, when, and how much they charge.
It took 2 minutes to search and I found an instructor who matched my schedule.
I took my first lesson before college less than a week later.

I reached out to FIVE different driving schools. Left voicemails. Filled out forms. Days went by without a single reply… Nothing.
Then a friend told me about Book Driving Lessons — a platform where you can find local instructors who actually have availability.
So, I gave it a shot and... boom 💥
I was matched with an instructor nearby in just 2 minutes. Booked. Paid. Confirmed. Can't wait to get started

While it’s rare, sometimes a learner and instructor might not be the perfect match — and that’s totally okay! Your learning experience should feel comfortable and right for you.
At Book Driving Lessons, you're not tied into any long-term commitment. Unlike other booking platforms that lock you into bundles of lessons, we only take payment for your first driving lesson.
If you feel your instructor isn’t the right fit, simply let them know, hop back onto our booking system, and find another instructor who suits your learning style. Learning to drive is a personal journey — and you deserve to enjoy every step of it!
We believe booking your first lesson should be straightforward – no hidden costs, no confusing small print.
So here’s how it works:
There’s a one-time, small booking fee of just £10 – but you’ll only pay it after we’ve successfully secured your lesson with the instructor you’ve chosen. No match? No fee. Simple as that.
Even better? That fee is already included in the price of your introductory 90-minute lesson – just £70 all in.
Why 90 minutes? Because it gives you enough time to properly settle in, learn something useful, and start building real driving confidence – without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
If you decide to stick with the same instructor (most people do!), you’ll move onto their regular lesson rate, and you can choose whatever lesson length works best for you from then on.
After making tons of calls and getting answerphone, after answerphone, I found Book Driving Lessons which is a website where you can search for local instructors.

I found book driving lessons after a search for automatic lessons in Lincoln. There were 2 instructors who had available spaces that matched my diary. Although I was eager to book I wasn't sure I trusted paying for a lesson online so I left my details on the waiting list. Within an hour they contacted me and made the booking for me. I had my first lesson with my instructor Josh a few weeks later and he was brilliant, and I'm enjoying every lesson.
